My reviews are out of 5 stars

5/5 - Absolutely amazing, now one of my favourites
4/5 - Really enjoyed it (and am looking forward to the next one!)
3/5 - Sort of a "Meh" book, but good enough that I finished it
2/5 - Finished it but didn't enjoy it at all.
1/5 - Not worth finishing. Don't read it.

My interest in books lies in Paranormal Young Adult and Children's Fiction. Books that involve themes with vampires, werewolves, ghosts, demons, witches, dystopian futures, magic, etc. are the kind that I'm drawn to.

I enjoy both older children's and young adult (teen) novels that don't focus on generic high school life. One of my favourite "types" of books involves someone starting out in the normal, modern world and then as the book goes on, something supernatural is discovered that changes that persons life. Harry Potter is a great example of this type of storytelling.

I provide honest reviews of the books I read. If I do not finish a book, my review policy is to give it a 1/5 and tell my readers WHY I didn't finish it. If I put a book down to be read later, that book is not reviewed until it is finished.

I do not currently accept e-books for review. I do not own an e-reader at this time and am not comfortable reading books on my laptop.

I can finish and review a book in a weeks time (usually less).

The pictures I post of a books cover is generally obtained from Goodreads. If it is not the cover of the edition I read, I will go out of my way to find that particular cover and post it with the review. As an artist, I like to make sure artists are given their due.

If you're interested in having a book reviewed by me, please send me an e-mail:
